On October 22, American Banker held its invite-only Most Powerful Women in Banking gala at the American Museum of Natural History in New York, and we handled the step and repeat instant sharing photo experience.

A 36-Foot Step and Repeat in the Rotunda

The gala brought past and present honorees together in person, so the arrival moment mattered. In the Theodore Roosevelt Rotunda, we set up a custom 36-foot step and repeat with uplights on it, so it stood out in that grand room. That much length gives guests room to pose solo or in a group.

Dinner Under the Blue Whale

After the photos, the night moved to dinner in the Milstein Hall of Ocean Life, right beneath the museum's iconic blue whale. Blue light, a giant whale overhead and a room full of guests made for a pretty great place to eat.

Photos in Their Hands Before the Night Ended

We shot social-sharing event photography, and guests were texted their photos so they could share them right away. For a night built around recognition, that's the point: the photo goes out while the moment is still happening.

We also printed on site, with custom 4x6 photo folders. Guests could leave with a real keepsake in a folder made for the event.
