Destination Toronto brought our GlamBot to IMEX America in Las Vegas, and it was a perfect fit. IMEX is where the meetings and events industry comes to see what's next, so the bar for a booth activation is high!
A GlamBot Inside a Geodesic Sphere
New Media built a geodesic sphere for the activation, and our GlamBot sat right inside it. The sphere is a showpiece on its own, and the GlamBot gave guests a reason to step inside.
The outside is red and mirrored, with "Meet in the city that's all in Toronto" and "100% Visionary. Legendary. Toronto." right on the panels, so the Toronto message greets every guest on the way in. Inside, mirrored facets catch the light from every angle. It's a striking backdrop for GlamBot, and every slow motion clip comes out shimmering.
Our team ran the experience and directed every guest through their moment, so everyone knew where to look and when to move. That's what makes GlamBot work. The robot arm does the cinematic slow motion, and our crew makes sure every guest looks like a star in it.
Why GlamBot Works at a Trade Show
A trade show floor is loud and crowded, and every booth is trying to get noticed. GlamBot stops people. It's a show for the crowd watching, and guests walk away with a slow motion video they actually want to share, with the brand right there in it.
For a destination brand like Destination Toronto, that means the booth keeps showing up on people's phones long after IMEX wraps.
